The Ticket radio personality Sean “Seabass” Bass was injured in a crash on September 21st on Centerville Road that killed his female passenger. The fatal accident happened when a suspected drunk driver in a 2000 Ford Expedition crossed the center line in Centerville Road near Glenbrook in Garland and hit Bass’ vehicle head-on at around 8:20 p.m. Friday. Most of the impact was on the passenger’s side and killed Bass’ passenger, 24-year-old Heather VanHoozer. Both Bass and VanHoozer were transported to Baylor University Medical Center. Two men were pronounced dead at the scene of a one-vehicle crash in Gray County early Thursday morning. Texas Department of Public Safety officials said at about 5:45 a.m., a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse was travelling east on U.S. Highway 60 four miles west of Pampa. The rainy condition caused the vehicle to hydroplane, flip on its passenger side and skid into a power pole, crushing the top of the car. The two victims, identified as 28-year-old Marshall Lee Echevarria III and passenger 42-year-old Gary Dee Wallace, were pronounced dead at 7 a.m. Both men were wearing their seat belts.

A head-on collision in the Oklahoma Panhandle Wednesday morning involving an SUV and a van full of men headed to work at a Texas meatpacking plant killed at least seven people. At approximately 6:15 a.m., a Chevrolet Suburban was speeding along Highway 412, about 6 and a half miles west of Elmwood in Beaver County, Oklahoma. A fatal collision early Tuesday morning in Canyon claimed the life of a 21-year-old West Texas A&M University cheerleader. The Canyon Police Department responded to a call just after midnight about a traffic collision between a car and a train at the 100th block of 4th street.
