Man Killed, Woman Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

One male motorcycle driver was killed and a female passenger was injured in an Arlington crash. On June 16, at about 2:45 a.m., a collision of a motorcycle and four-door sedan happened at the intersection of E. Sublet Road and New York Avenue, southeast of Arlington Municipal Airport. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it smashed into the car, killing the motorcyclist and causing a severe leg injury to the female passenger. The woman was taken to the John Peter Smith Hospital. The driver of the car was unharmed. Investigators are still identifying the cause of the accident. A mother and her nine children were injured in an accident in Liberty County. It was 1:30 a.m. when a woman and her children were on their way home riding a Ford Excursion. Authorities need help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who left the scene of an accident on April 29th. A 45-year-old male victim was crossing the street near the 200 block of N. York St. at around 9 p.m. when a car hit him. The unidentified driver failed to stop and render aid. Two people were killed and five injured in a vehicular accident Sunday afternoon. A 1999 Ford Expedition skid in the middle of the road and somersaulted repeatedly, killing the driver and one passenger. Worker Dies In Fall From Texas Highway Bridge

A construction worker of a new San Antonio highway bridge died after falling 50 feet. Early morning of June 4th, a worker who was part of the U.S. 281 and Loop 1604 crew, was attaching corrugated metal onto the bridge frame when the accident happened. Brody Schoonover Dies in ATV Accident

An all-terrain vehicle accident killed an 7-year-old northeast Missouri boy and injured two others. Sunday evening at Greentop in Adair County, William Arrieta, 26, of Austin, Texas, was driving a Polaris Ranger with on board two children. At 4 a.m. Sunday morning, June 3rd, Terry Lawson age 60 and passenger Jeffrey King age 40, were southbound riding a pickup when Lawson crossed the center line of Missouri 5 in northern Camden County. A Wimberley motorcyclist heading westbound on Sessom Drive died in a wreck on the night of May 31st. It was 6:55pm when Bobby Harrison Salmons, 24, was driving through the intersection at North LBJ. He lost control, hit a curb and was thrown off his motorcycle, according to Sgt. Chris Tureaud of the San Marcos Police Department. Salmons was brought to Central Texas Medical Center and was confirmed dead. This is San Marcos’ fifth deadly traffic accident this year.
