Precinct 3 Constable Mark Vojvodich attempted to stop a driver of a motorcycle with no clear markings. The motorcyclist fled and the chase began at Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel at about 1.pm. Thursday. Ronald Dwayne Thomas Killed in Port Arthur Wreck

A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on West Port Arthur Road claimed the life of a Borger man. Ronald Dwayne Thomas, 63, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet truck heading north on West Port Arthur Road when his vehicle rear-ended a 2007 Mack truck, which was attempting to make a left turn. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Thomas died at 7:56 a.m. at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. The driver of the Mack truck, a Beaumont man, was uninjured in the collision.

A driver of a car was pronounced dead on the scene after crashing his car into a tractor-trailer in East Brunswick Township Tuesday evening. A Conroe woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in Willis early Tuesday morning. Willis police department said a vehicle was traveling eastbound near the intersection of FM 1097 and Business Park Drive at about 1 a.m. when the driver struck 42-year-old Ginger Lynn Scheibele. Two people died Monday night in a wrong-way crash in Harrison County. Texarkana DPS identified the victims as Tysheliamie Jordan, 45, of Marshall and Ricardo Gonzalez, 23, of Longview. A 78-year-old man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle rollover accident in Brazos County Monday afternoon. Brazos County Sheriff's Office chief deputy Jim Stewart said that at about 4p.m., Morris Endler of Kurten was found by his wife trapped under his ATV at the bottom of an embankment on their 9-acre property off Texas 21 east of Kurten. A 62-year-old man trapped overnight in his pickup truck in a creek bed in Waco was rescued Tuesday afternoon.
