A 40-year-old Cedar Hill man was fleeing an Upshur County sheriff's deputy when his car slammed into a concrete pillar underneath an overpass and died. The deadly crash happened at 10:48 p.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. 271 and Texas 155. For several months the North Texas Tollway Authority has been taking many steps to alleviate the problem of wrong-way drivers along the tollway. Early Tuesday morning, another wrong-way car crash occurred on the Dallas North Tollway southbound lanes, just south of Mockingbird Lane. According to police reports, a 2013 Honda Accord entered onto the tollway travelling in the wrong direction. Despite numerous warnings, the driver, 25-year-old Hae J. Christopher Michael Cabriales and Vanessa Garcia Killed in Harlingen Wreck

A rollover accident on Tuesday morning just north of Harlingen killed a young man and woman. It was about 10:30 a.m. at the FM 507 north of Valley International Airport when 20-year-old Christopher Michael Cabriales was heading south and lost control of his 2012 Kia Ole. He overcorrected sending his vehicle onto the northbound lane and slammed through an iron fence. Cabriales was rushed to the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen but died from his injuries. A T-bone accident on Highway 46 West in Bulverde killed a 7-year-old girl and injured 4 others. The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Hwy 46 and Blanco Road, in far western Comal County. It was reported that a minivan attempted to cross the highway on Blanco Road and was T-boned by a Jeep. The wreck claimed the life of a 7-year old girl from San Antonio. A 23-year-old Tewksbury Soldier was killed in a motorcycle accident in El Paso, Texas Sunday morning. The accident took place just after 9 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time on the Transmountain Highway near a summit in the Franklin Mountains. Army Spc. David A. Mulno, 23, of Tewksbury, was riding with friends when he lost control of his 2004 Black Kawasaki and hit a curb and then a guardrail. Spc. A Spring woman remains in critical condition after she and her children were involved in two accidents. The first accident happened at around 1 p.m. on Texas 105 at Aranda Lane when 32-year-old Leanne Dolson was driving east in her PT Cruiser and allegedly side-swiped a Ford Expedition. Dolson apparently drove away from the scene and about a mile from the first crash, she swerved again onto the westbound lane of Texas 105 near Scott Road where she hits a westbound van head-on. Firefighter Christopher Clay Killed in Car Accident

An Odessa firefighter was killed in a one vehicle accident near Penwell Saturday morning. Christopher Clay, 32,  was driving his truck on Interstate 20 when for an unknown reason he left the road, overcorrected and then rolled his vehicle several times. He was not wearing a seatbelt. On Sunday, a group of West Texas firefighters went to Midland and braved the heat to collect money at the north side Wal-Mart for Clay's family. They raised over $6,000. Collision on Highway 136 Kills Levi David Cox

A two vehicle crash in Potter County has killed a Borger man and critically injured a teenager. The accident happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 136 near mile marker 94. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, Levi David Cox, 36, of Borger, was heading north in a Ford pickup when for an unknown reason he crossed into the southbound lane. That's when the pickup smashed into another vehicle head-on driven by 40-year-old Jackie Stapleton. Cox was pronounced dead at the scene. A Volkswagen Jetta and a Dodge truck were racing on Grande early Sunday morning and this resulted in an accident that injured two people. At about 1:15 am, Tyler Police responded to a major accident at 1500 W Grande. Two vehicles were racing onto the eastbound lanes when they were unable to make the turn as they entered a curve and crashed into the edge. Charles Strnadel and Shawn Emery Die in Harris County Crash

A two-vehicle crash in Huffman Thursday morning killed two men and injured a 5-month-old girl. A Victoria man was taking his daughter to her babysitter when the fatal accident occurred on Farm-to-Market Road 2100. Charles Strnadel IV, 29, of Huffman, was driving south in a Toyota Tundra when a northbound Dodge Ram 2500, moved into the southbound lane and hit Strnadel head-on.
