A driver and his passenger died after their car crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler Sunday morning in Leon County. According to the Department of Public Safety, the car was behind a Mack truck, both heading east on Highway 7 about 16 miles east of Centerville. The crash occurred at around 5:45 a.m. when the car slammed into the back of the truck as it attempted to turn right on a private road. A man was hurt following a two-vehicle crash that involved a tractor and a pickup Saturday afternoon on Farm-to-Market Road 236, seven-tenth of a mile north of FM 1685. The collision happened at about 2:30 p.m. when a 2010 Chevrolet pickup heading west on the shoulder of FM 236 left the roadway and struck a westbound New Holland tractor, driven by Robert Dial, 51, of Victoria. The Department of Public Safety is investigating an accident that killed a Utah man after the semi he was driving overturned in Reagan County Saturday night. According to DPS, 40-year-old Roger Dale Taylor of Spanish Fork, Utah, was driving an 18-wheeler with a trailer owned by Premiere Trading & Transportation in Cushing, Oklahoma. John Andrew Beard and Jonathan Norvell West Die in ATV Accident

Two men were killed in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident in Pope County on Saturday. John Andrew Beard, 44, of Road Spring, and his passenger Jonathan Norvell West, 48, of Humble, were pronounced dead on the scene by Pope County Coroner Leonard Krout. The Arkansas State Police said the two men were driving on a 2012 Polaris RZR heading south on U.S. Forest Service Road 1310. The ATV missed a turn left, went off the roadway and hit a tree. Authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.

Sharon Zakkizadeh and Joseph Seymour Killed in Santa Fe Collision

Two people were killed and one injured following a three-vehicle crash Friday on Highway 6 in Santa Fe, Galveston County. According to Santa Fe Police, Sharon Zakkizadeh, 65, was driving a Jeep on Highway 6 when it was rear-ended by a westbound vehicle driven by Charles Orsak, 29. The impact caused the Jeep to roll over and cross into the eastbound lanes, hitting a Honda driven by Joseph Seymour, 58. Zakkizadeh was ejected from the Jeep and died instantly. Seymour was trapped in the vehicle and then died. Orsak was transported to University of Texas Medical Branch in stable condition.…

A woman from Texas is dead and two people hurt in Friday’s crash in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. The incident happened at about 9 a.m. Friday about three miles east of U.S. 171 between Ragley and Reeves. Robert L. Stinespring, 71, and passenger, Guadelupe L. Stinespring, 70, both from Llano, Texas, were heading west on U.S. 190 when a vehicle from the eastbound lanes crossed the median into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into their vehicle.
