Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of one of the two women who died Friday in a wreck on Interstate 10.
The first victim has been identified as 19-year-old Victoria Abreu. The identity of the second victim has not yet been released.
According to police, the Chevrolet Trailblazer was heading east of I-10 access road and was preparing for a turnaround when it smashed into a concrete wall. The vehicle rolled off the bridge and finally landed on the ramp of Wurzbach Road.
It was unclear if Abreu was the passenger or the driver of the vehicle. Both women were not wearing seatbelts, police said.
Investigation is still ongoing.
