A one-vehicle crash in Rockdale early Sunday morning claimed the life of an Oklahoma man.
At approximately 12:55 a.m., a 2000 Toyota pickup truck was travelling in a southeast direction along FM 487 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The pickup truck then skid sideways causing it to overturn.
The driver, identified as Travis Dera Darling, 22, of Morrison, OK, was pronounced dead at the scene just before 2 a.m. by Milam County Justice of the Peace Andy Isaacs.
Department of Public Safety said Darling was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
