A crash in northern Arizona early Saturday morning left two Texas teens dead and injured four others.
High school students from Midland Classical Academy were on their way to Zion National Park in southern Utah 12 miles east of Tuba City when the sports utility vehicle they were riding in rolled over.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said that at 1:47 a.m., the vehicle was westbound on Arizona 264, about 40 miles southeast of the Grand Canyon, when it left the roadway and rolled over multiple times.
DPS officials said Robert Henson, 18, and Bryce Carrigan, 14, both of Midland, TX, were killed as a result of the accident.
Matt Slavick was driving the vehicle. He is a teacher at the school. Both Slavick and an 8th Grader Zach Evans were seriously injured. A parent and his son were also injured.
The fatal crash is still under investigation.
