A Huntsville pilot has been killed after his small plane crashed in Bullard area, about 100 miles southeast of Dallas.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the victim of the crash Wednesday afternoon was identified as 51-year-old Stephen Annis. His plane went down in a wooded area near Lake Palestine.
Annis was the only one flying the plane.
Pieces of rubble were found among the trees and on a road.
Investigators are identifying the cause of the crash.
