Two people were killed and one injured following a three-vehicle crash Friday on Highway 6 in Santa Fe, Galveston County.
According to Santa Fe Police, Sharon Zakkizadeh, 65, was driving a Jeep on Highway 6 when it was rear-ended by a westbound vehicle driven by Charles Orsak, 29. The impact caused the Jeep to roll over and cross into the eastbound lanes, hitting a Honda driven by Joseph Seymour, 58.
Zakkizadeh was ejected from the Jeep and died instantly.
Seymour was trapped in the vehicle and then died.
Orsak was transported to University of Texas Medical Branch in stable condition.
The crash is pending investigation.
