A man was injured after leading the Mesquite police on chase on LBJ Freeway and crashed into three vehicles Wednesday night.
Scott Banks, 28, who was a suspect of an offense in Garland, was approached by police officers on the 1100 block of Thistle Drive around 11:30 p.m. and fled driving a white Honda.
He led police into a chase on U.S. Highway 80 and continued onto LBJ Freeway where he slammed into three vehicles as he attempted to drive between them.
The car flipped several times injuring Banks. He was taken to Baylor University Medical Center.
The drivers of the other vehicles were unharmed.
Police said Banks faces charges of evading arrest with a vehicle and driving without insurance.
