A victim who was burned beyond recognition from an one vehicle fiery crash in the 400 block of Cumberland Road on September 11, 2012 has been identified.
The driver has been identified as Sarah Caitlin Stanley, 24, of Nacogdoches, Texas.
Stanley was on her way to her mother’s house in Flint, Texas, when the fatal accident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. She was heading west on Cumberland when she struck a curb causing the vehicle to leave the roadway. The vehicle then slammed into a tree and was fully engulfed in flames.
Stanley was travelling alone.
Officials confirmed her identity through dental records.
