Two women have died in a traffic accident in New Braunfels early Friday.
The crash happened just after midnight in the 2500 block of Loop 337 at the exit driveway to the New Braunfels High School.
Officers on patrol in the area heard a loud sound and searched for the scene of the wreck. The found a vehicle had crashed into a utility pole.
New Braunfels Police identified the two occupants in the car as Samantha Summer Rose, 21, and Ashley Dawn Robles, 20.
Both women were unresponsive at the time and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into what lead to the accident continues.
