An Austin man died in a two-vehicle collision in Eastern Travis County early Saturday morning.
At around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, a 2006 BMW was traveling southbound on FM 973 when it swerved onto the northbound lanes and crashed into a 2000 Audi 4-door vehicle.
The person driving the BMW, identified as Salvador Del Rio, 26, of Austin, was killed from injuries sustained in the fatal accident.
The Texas Department of Public Safety officials have not confirmed if speed or alcohol were a factor.
