Rosalinda Santana, Lydia Jimenez, and Margarito Cavazos Victims of Rollover Accident Near El Paso

Three people, including a 6-year-old boy, died and three others injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident Sunday afternoon near El Paso.

Police said a vehicle carrying six people may have had a tire blowout, which caused it to overturn on Interstate 10 in Culberson County shortly before 2:30 p.m.

Pronounced dead at the scene were Rosalinda Santana, 42, Lydia Jimenez, 23, and 6-year-old Margarito Cavazos. All three were from Laredo.

The other three passengers were transported to University Medical Center in El Paso in stable condition. They were identified as Lisa Zamora, 33, Kimberly Zamora, 19, and Juan Zamora, 14.

The family had travelled to El Paso to visit their father, who had pneumonia.
