A 32-year-old man was killed after he lost control of his pickup and crashed into a tree in Plano early Tuesday.
Robby Joe Stewart III of Plano was driving a white 2010 Nissan pickup truck traveling east on Hedgcoxe Road when the accident happened at about 12:35 a.m.
He lost control of the pickup in a curve, veered off the road and slammed into a tree.
Major damage was reported on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Stewart died in the crash. Plano police said the victim was the only occupant in the truck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
