An 18-year-old drunken driver was arrested after he struck his van into a Fort Worth home in 6700 block Westbrook Avenue.
Fort Worth police said the van crashed into the children’s bedroom around 3 a.m., barely missing the two boys. Neither boy was harmed.
Nardeza Daniels, who confessed initially fleeing from the scene, reappeared after officers arrived and took ownership of the white van.
Daniels of Fort Worth later told police that the reason he lost control of his van was that he was still shaken up by an earlier incident wherein a carjacker tried to steal his van and he was able to escape.
Daniels was arrested for initially leaving the scene and public intoxication.
There is no information on whether investigators are looking for the carjacker.
