A motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Amarillo.
Michael Taylor Ross Philley, 24, was traveling at a high rate of speed in his 2002 Suzuki motorcycle when he slammed into the rear of another vehicle at about 1 a.m. just north of the 16th street and Georgia intersection.
Philley applied his brakes and the bike fell to the pavement as it slid into a black Dodge Neon.
Philley was taken to the hospital where he was listed with life-threatening injuries.
The three occupants of the Dodge Neon were uninjured.
