Two women were killed in a crash early Sunday in west Fort Worth.
The accident occurred at about 3:45 a.m. at Silver Creek Road, 2300 block of West Loop 820 North.
Maria Espinosa, 20, of Granbury was travelling north on Loop 820 when she lost control and struck a guardrail, causing her vehicle to turn and face south. She got out and stood on the freeway, police said.
Dana Adams, 55, of Fort Worth was also traveling north, in a Toyota 4Runner, when she fatally hit Espinosa before smashing the disabled SUV head-on.
Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.
