A Spring woman remains in critical condition after she and her children were involved in two accidents.
The first accident happened at around 1 p.m. on Texas 105 at Aranda Lane when 32-year-old Leanne Dolson was driving east in her PT Cruiser and allegedly side-swiped a Ford Expedition.
Dolson apparently drove away from the scene and about a mile from the first crash, she swerved again onto the westbound lane of Texas 105 near Scott Road where she hits a westbound van head-on.
DPS Trooper Erik Burse said Dolson is at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston with internal bleeding and a broken femur. The two children riding with her also had injuries from the collision. Her 2-year-old child suffered a laceration on the head and the 6-week-old had a broken femur. The names and gender of the children were not available at press time.
Occupants of the van suffered minor injuries. One was transported to Memorial Hermann in Houston but is recovered.
There are no official charges yet, but Burse said Dolson probably will be charged for failing to stop after the first accident.
