A 47-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car at the intersection of Tierra Este and Tierra Limpia in El Paso Wednesday night.
El Paso Police Spokesperson Chris Mears said Judith Yeager was crossing the side of the street that had no crosswalk mark. She was then hit by a Hispanic woman driving a Saturn southbound on Tierra Este.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and Yeager was taken to Del Sol where she was declared dead.
Police said no charges have been filed as alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the deadly accident.
