An 18-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Dalhart Tuesday morning.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a wreck at about 6:00 a.m. on FM 281.
Jose Elloy Sierra was heading west on FM 281 when his vehicle slid off the road into a field, where it rolled over several times and landed in a field on the north side of the road.
Sierra was ejected from the vehicle and transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
DPS continues investigating the crash.
