Two people from Texas died when they were struck by two vehicles while crossing Highway 10 in Minnesota.
The victims were identified as John P. Nettelfield, 78, and Jean S. Nettelfield, 71, both from San Antonio, Texas.
The accident happened Saturday about 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 10 and Sunfish Lake Boulevard, according to the State Patrol.
The Nettelfields were crossing the two-lane divided roadway, against a red light, when an SUV struck both pedestrians. A second vehicle struck a person lying in the road.
They were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither driver of the vehicles was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
