A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday in Dallas.
Franklin Clay, 22, was crossing eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 175 near Pine Street when he was hit by a vehicle between 1 and 1:30 a.m.
A driver of a Chevrolet Blazer said he was struck by a blue Chevrolet Tahoe, causing it to spin out of control. The Tahoe went into a concrete barrier and guardrail, around the same area. The Blazer driver said he saw several people run off the Tahoe when it stopped after the crash.
The Dallas County Sheriff believes the Tahoe’s driver hit Clay and then the Blazer before fleeing.
