A motorcyclist was seriously injured following an afternoon traffic accident on the S. Broadway and Heritage intersection on Thursday.
According to Tyler police, the accident happened at about 12 p.m. when a 2006 Suzuki heading north on S. Broadway struck the front of a southbound 2007 Chevy Tahoe, which was attempting to make a U-Turn on the intersection of Heritage.
The rider of the Suzuki, Dillon Shelton, 20, of Tyler, was rushed to East Texas Medical Center and is in critical condition.
The driver of the Chevy Tahoe, Pam Davis, 63, of Kilgore, and a passenger were not injured.
This crash remains under investigation.
