An one-vehicle crash in Stephens County, Abilene, on Tuesday left one woman dead.
The incident occurred at about 10:53 a.m. when a pickup heading north on Farm Road 1287 drifted off the road and overcorrected. The vehicle then went into a side skid and turned over.
Department of Public Safety identified the driver as Graham resident Colleen Moss Hamlett.
She was pronounced dead on the scene. Her body was taken to Morrison Funeral Home in Graham.
Hamlett was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. The weather was rainy causing the roadway to be wet, DPS said.
The crash is still being investigated.
