An 18-year-old man died and three others were injured in a two-vehicle collision early Saturday in northwest Harris County.
The crash happened at approximately 2 a.m. in the 6900 block of East FM 1960 when a black Ford truck changed lanes to the left and struck a Toyota Camry, which was also changing lanes.
The Ford’s front right side struck the left side of the Toyota.
Colby Reece Fitzgerald, who was a passenger of the Toyota, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The other occupants of the car sustained serious injuries. The 21-year-old female driver and backseat passenger were taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The other backseat passenger was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital.
None of the four passengers in the pickup were injured.
Harris County police said the 18-year-old pickup driver was found to be intoxicated and has been arrested for drunken driving.
This crash remains under investigation.
