Early Sunday’s single-vehicle rollover in Sanger left one person dead and three others injured.
Colbey Parsons of Iowa Park was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck which happened at approximately 2:46 a.m. near the 11600 block of FM 2450 near Chisum Road, said the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The 22-year-old was driving north in a 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck when he attempted to make a left turn, overcorrected and struck a drainage culvert. The pick-up rolled over and Parsons died at the crash.
His three passengers, all from Saint Jo, were injured in the wreck.
Justin Coats, 23, was rushed to Denton Regional Medical Center in critical condition with internal injuries.
Two female passengers, Kassie Horner and Ashlynn Bell, both 22, were transported to Texas Health Presbyterian of Denton and were listed with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigation continues on what led to the fatal accident.
