A death investigation is conducted for a man found dead in his vehicle outside a motel Thursday night.
The family of 24-year-old Christopher Delacruz rushed him to a hospital after he was found not breathing inside a vehicle at a west Abilene motel.
Delacruz was declared dead at Hendrick Medical Center. A Taylor County justice of the peace ordered an autopsy on his body.
Abilene police don’t believe there is any criminal activity involved. Investigation continues as authorities await the autopsy report.
