Charles Thomas Brown Killed in Fatal Centerville Accident

The names of the victims of Saturday night’s three-vehicle wreck in Centerville have been released.

Charles Thomas Brown, 72, of Centerville was driving in Highway 7 east of Centerville when he sideswiped an SUV and another vehicle. Brown dies after the crash while the five people on board the SUV were all taken to East Texas Medical Center in Crockett.

– Maria Delourdes Najera, 43 (suffered head trauma; last listed in fair condition)
– Hipolito Delgado Najera, 45 (condition unknown)
– Danny Najera, 14 (condition unknown)
– Alessandra Najera, 8 (stable condition)
– Natalia Mendez, 10 (condition unknown)

The third vehicle involved in the accident was driven by Jayne Slaughter Smith from Mexia and was unharmed.
