A car accident on Travis County left a Cedar Creek sports booster and photojournalist dead.
49-year-old Larry Overall died in a two-vehicle accident minutes before 7a.m. on FM 812.
Overall’s wife, Andi, confirmed his death through a brief phone call with Advertiser.
DPS Trooper Robbie Barrera said Overall was driving his blue pickup traveling west on FM 812 at around 6:45 a.m. while a garbage truck was traveling east of FM 812 in the left turn lane. The garbage truck was waiting to turn left onto Texas 130 toll when it collided head-on with Overall’s pickup.
Overall was declared dead at the scene.
Overall frequent CCHS games. He was a freelance photographer for The Advertiser.
Overall is survived by his wife and two children, including a son, who attended Cedar Creek High School.
