Juana Muniz Dies in East El Paso Two Vehicle Crash

A two-vehicle crash in East El Paso early Monday morning left one woman dead and a man critically injured. Police said that it was approximately 2 a.m. when the collision happened. A red 2006 Hummer H3 travelling south on Zaragoza Road ran through a red light and struck a gray 2011 Honda Accord on Gateway East. The Hummer flipped several times, ejecting the two occupants, Juana Muniz, 25, and Fernando Rodriguez, 26. Both were not wearing seatbelts. It was undetermined who was driving the vehicle. A four-auto collision on Interstate 20 near mile marker 597 on Tuesday killed two local men. Alex Terhune, 26, and passenger Brandie Lockwood, 24, both from Marshall, were pronounced dead on the scene of the accident which occurred at about 1 a.m. According to Texas Department of Public Safety officials, Terhune was driving east on I-20 when he crashed into the rear of a Chevrolet Avalanche. A woman died after crashing into a tractor-trailer in Live Oak County Tuesday night. Ashley Nicole Gomez, 29, of Bullard was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash that happened at about 8:30 p.m. on State Highway 72, five miles west of Three Rivers. A woman died in a two-vehicle roll-over crash in Hutchinson County early Saturday. Lucas David Aubrey Killed In Auto Pedestrian Accident

An auto pedestrian accident on Friday claimed the life of a Beaumont man. Lucas David Aubrey, 33, of Beaumont, was walking on the inside lane of traffic when a westbound 2003 Chevy Trailblazer struck him. The incident happened at around 9 p.m. Friday on Highway 90, 1.8 miles west of Broadway Street. Aubrey was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Trailblazer has been identified as Mack Clarence Mitchell, 37, of Baytown. No charges have been filed. The accident remains under investigation by the Department of Public Safety.
