A man was run over and killed by an SUV near the 400 block of Southlawn Avenue in San Antonio Monday night. Alfredo Ramirez was a passenger in an SUV driven by Roberto Cubas-Juarez, aka Alberto Garcia, with a female passenger at about 7 p.m. The three people began arguing as they were dropping Ramirez off at 420 Southlawn. Ramirez exited the SUV, stepped up on the vehicle's step-side and grabbed onto the luggage rails. Ramirez fell under the SUV as Cubas-Juarez drove off and was run over. Two pedestrians were hurt when they were struck by a vehicle Monday night on Fox Avenue in Lewisville. The incident occurred at about 6:45 p.m. on the road near Edmonds Lane. Police said 24-year-old Lai Thawng and 36-year-old Sang Hrin were not using a crosswalk and crossed the road when they were hit by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes. Two people are dead following a crash involving a passenger car and a pickup truck east of Marlin Monday afternoon. A Department of Public Safety trooper said a 2008 Silverado pickup truck traveling west on FM 147 crossed the median near a curve, nicked an eastbound Kia and then crashed head-on with a 1997 Lincoln Town Car. Corrections Officer Christopher Joseph Molnar Killed in Medina County Wreck

A rollover crash Sunday night along a rural road in Medina County claimed the life of a corrections officer. Christopher Joseph Molnar, 19, was driving a 2009 Toyota Yaris heading south on State Highway 173 near mile post 500 when the wreck happened. Texas Department of Public Safety officials said Molnar lost control and rolled the vehicle. Molnar was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the wreck. Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fatal accident.

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle traffic accident Sunday night in Amarillo. The fatal wreck happened at about 9 p.m. at the intersection of 41st Avenue and Washington Street. Amarillo police said a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser was heading east on 41st Avenue when it crossed through Washington Street and was struck by a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Eric Quentin Payne Jr. Dies in Pedestrian Accident

One person was struck and killed when he ran into oncoming traffic early Saturday in Bexar County. Converse resident Eric Quentin Payne Jr., 28, ran into the side of a car in the 700 block of Northwest Loop 410, between Blanco Road and San Pedro Avenue. The driver tried to avoid hitting Payne and took the first exit to circle back to the scene. The accident happened at about 5 a.m. and the driver called 911. The Bexar County medical examiner's office pronounced Payne dead at the scene. The driver will not face charges, police said.

An 18-year-old man died and three others were injured in a two-vehicle collision early Saturday in northwest Harris County. The crash happened at approximately 2 a.m. in the 6900 block of East FM 1960 when a black Ford truck changed lanes to the left and struck a Toyota Camry, which was also changing lanes. Tara Lyn Carter Injured in Grant County Crash

A Perryton woman was hurt following a rollover accident Wednesday in Grant County, OK. Tara Lyn Carter, 44, was driving a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder when the crash happened in Oklahoma 132 four miles south of Manchester at about 10 p.m. According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Carter was heading north when she apparently fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle left the road to the left, causing it to roll over twice and coming to rest on its wheels. Carter had to be extracted from the vehicle by members of Manchester Fire Department after being pinned for 20 minutes.…

Buddy Ray Wilkins Killed in I-20 Accident

One man was killed when he crashed into an 18-wheeler south of Wills Point in Van Zandt County Wednesday afternoon. The crash occurred at the 5515 mile marker on Interstate 20 east, about a mile west of Farm-to-Market 47, south of Wills Point. Buddy Ray Wilkins of Kilgore was driving an SUV when, for an unknown reason, he drifted into the 18-wheeler sitting on the shoulder of the road. The SUV slammed into the truck from behind. Spokeswoman for DPS Trooper Jean Dark said the truck was parked legally on the side of the highway. Wilkins died in the wreck.
