A man was run over and killed by an SUV near the 400 block of Southlawn Avenue in San Antonio Monday night.
Alfredo Ramirez was a passenger in an SUV driven by Roberto Cubas-Juarez, aka Alberto Garcia, with a female passenger at about 7 p.m. The three people began arguing as they were dropping Ramirez off at 420 Southlawn.
Ramirez exited the SUV, stepped up on the vehicle’s step-side and grabbed onto the luggage rails. Ramirez fell under the SUV as Cubas-Juarez drove off and was run over.
He was instantly killed in the accident.
Cubas-Juarez was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. He is being held in Bexar County Jail on $75,000 bail.
