Shelley Nicodemus Dies in Motorcycle Accident
An investigator at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office was killed in an off-duty motorcycle crash early Sunday morning in Katy.
According to Katy police, two investigators were riding a motorcycle on an Interstate 10 feeder road in the Houston suburb of Katy when the motorcycle hit a curb and then skid.
Shelley Nicodemus, 45, the passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Moses Perez, sustained head and back injuries. He was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery and is in stable condition.
Nicodemus has been with the sheriff’s office in Fort Bend County, located in the Houston metropolitan area, for about 20 years.
