A Texas man is dead following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday as a snowstorm hits south western Kansas.
Roy Gaytan, 21, of Dallas, was killed in the wreck, which happened before 8 p.m. amidst blizzard conditions on U.S. 50, about 13 miles east of Dodge City.
Gaytan was a passenger of an eastbound GMC vehicle that slammed head-on into a tractor-trailer heading west. Another westbound vehicle crashed into the others.
Initial reports indicated that the tractor-trailer appeared to have crossed the center line.
The crash is still under investigation.
