A pedestrian died after he was struck by a vehicle in Bowie County Wednesday night.
The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. when 36-year-old Paul Keith Butler of Texarkana was walking East on FM 2516 in the Liberty Eylau Community. Butler was struck by a vehicle driven by Christopher Plummer, who was not injured.
Troopers said Butler took off walking after an argument with his girlfriend and was believed to be walking in the middle of the road.
The Texas Department of Safety investigation is on-going.
