A crash on New Year’s Day in Seguin claimed the life of a 24-year-old motorcyclist.
Seguin police said Michael McFarland was traveling south on Texas 46 from West Court Street and attempted to make a left turn when an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado hit him on the right side.
According to witnesses, McFarland did not have a green protective arrow to turn left and did not stop to oncoming traffic.
The driver of the pickup was uninjured in the accident.
