A fiery accident near downtown Dallas early Saturday claimed the life of one man.
Carmen Castro, a spokeswoman with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, said the fatal crash occurred about 4 a.m. Saturday under the Houston Street viaduct at Interstate 35.
The accident involved a collision between a minivan and an 18-wheeler.
The driver of the minivan, 40-year-old Kevin Pogue, was pinned inside the minivan.
Pogue was pronounced dead at the scene.
