A 68-year-old man was a victim of a hit-and-run accident on Garland Road in East Dallas.
Just before 11 p.m. Sunday, Jerry McAnally of Mesquite was crossing Garland near Peavy Road when he was hit by a vehicle traveling north. The driver fled the scene.
Another motorist called 911 after finding McAnally lying near the concrete median in the inside lane.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No witnesses have stepped forward leaving police with no details of the suspect vehicle.
