A Lago Vista man was killed while riding his motorcycle in Cedar Park Sunday afternoon.
It was Jerrell Coker’s 66th birthday when the crash happened. Coker was riding his bike when he crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a Ford Expedition head on.
The incident occurred just after 12 p.m. Sunday on Anderson Mill Road near Gasper Bend.
Coker was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident,
This is the first traffic fatality for the city of Cedar Park for 2012.
