A crash in Carter County Friday afternoon claimed the life of a woman.
The deadly accident involving two vehicles occurred near exit 29 in Ardmore around 5 o’clock. John Iven, 70, was trying to get back on I-35 when he collided with a pickup driven by 59-year-old James Wayne Pierce.
John Iven’s passenger Carel Iven, of Bedford, Texas was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene.
Authorities say John Iven was treated and released from a local hospital. Pierce was unharmed.
