Andrew Lam

I was born in Alabama but have been a resident of North Texas for the last 20 years. After receiving my bachelors in Economics from the University of Texas at Dallas, I worked in finance and banking including working as an Analyst for JP Morgan Chase. After a few years in finance, I decided to switch careers and went on to attend law school at Southern Methodist University as a Deans Scholar. I graduated in 2020 earning my Juris Doctorate with very mediocre grades.

During law school I had the opportunity to complete an in-house counsel externship for the largest airline catering company in the world. There I gained experience in reviewing and drafting contracts involving employment agreements, business agreements with outside vendors, and labor unions. After law school I clerked at Bajaria & Forgerson focusing on complex commercial litigation including Securities Fraud, Deceptive Trade Practices, Real Estate Transactions, and commercial liability. I then joined a practice group at Glast, Phillips & Murray focused on commercial insurance defense, and commercial litigation. There, I had the opportunity to defend transportation companies in large cases involving multi-party injuries, permanent impairment, and wrongful deaths.

As an attorney with experience representing both Plaintiffs as well as Insurance companies, I can quickly predicate the various litigation strategies being pursued by the parties.
