A woman died in a one-vehicle accident on Sunday, just north of Fayette.
At about 2:42 a.m., Tabatha F. Davis, 40, of Fayette, was driving north on Mississippi 553 when her SUV ran off the roadway, turned over and crashed into a tree. Davis was ejected from her vehicle, according to a Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman.
Investigators continue to look for the cause of the accident.
