The state highway was closed Monday night after a collision injured five people.

At about 8 p.m. June 25th, four helicopters were sent to the west of Mt. Calm where two vehicles crashed on State Highway 31, according to Hill County Sheriff Jeffrey Lyon.  The rescue team had to cut three of the five victims from the wreckage of the vehicles.
